When Should You Shoot?

The question has been raised.

How often should I shoot??

The answer is simple
As much as you can.

How much can you afford to shoot? How often can you make the time? Can you afford to only practice as much as you do? You do not have to pay to go to a range every time you practice. There is an unbelievable amount of public land in Oregon (and most states as far as that goes). Make it a date night. My wife, along with most of the women I know, would like a sub sandwich and 150 rounds over a steakhouse and a movie. Don't get me wrong, she likes to be pampered but you would be surprised how much fun you can have shooting (and after). Get your blood pumping and head out to the country.

Looking for some fun twists? You don't just have to shoot a piece of paper. But remember, leave it cleaner than you found it. Patrol your brass. Clean up your targets.
And have a blast.

Try some reactive exploding targets, zombies, fruit.

And above all else. If you know of a great place to shoot, put it in a comment so that I can one more great lace to shoot.

Stay Safe
Have Fun
 Thanks.

FREE Oregon concealed carry class.

People ask about my free classes all the time......
Well, It's easy, there's no catch, and no gimmicks.

When you host a private class you, as the host, get incentives and bonuses. Kind of like hosting a Tupperware party, only it's a better party, with better stuff, and better prizes. A lot of people hear "Private Class" and assume that it is going to cost more, but the opposite is true.

 Q. Well, what if I don't want a bunch of strangers at my house.
 A. You only have who you want. Friends, family, co-workers, church members.
 A. You don't have to have it at your house. Use your church, work, local grange, fire dept., If you    have more than 20 people, and can't find a spot, I will rent one.

 Q. What if I don't have someplace to shoot?
 A.  There is no range time in our concealed carry class. We teach shooting, and hold our classes                 separate from concealed classes so that we can have one on one instructor to student ratio. There is no shooting required to obtain your concealed handgun license in Oregon, Utah, or Arizona.

The way the Free class works is you (as the host) get a spiff for each person that you brought to the class. The minimum class size depends on how far we have to travel to give the class, but the incentives are the same no matter what.
Five people paying for their class gets you your Oregon class for free. Ten in your class will get you your Oregon and Utah, and fifteen will get you Arizona too.
If you already have one or all of these, there are other prizes and awards available such as holsters, targets, exploding targets, books, ammo, etc.  As the size of the class increases, so do the prizes.

Our class is four hours long. Sometimes a little longer depending on the people. If you have 20 people, and want to do a barbecue in the middle of it, it will take a little longer.

Call or email for more info on how to set up a private class, or to pick a date.
